APS 2023 Minisymposium

The Stories of Women in Fluids (WiF) Initiative is proud to host a Minisymposium at the APS Division of Fluid Dynamics meeting, spotlighting women-identifying members and their career journeys. Originating from the Women in Fluids networking group, the Initiative uses storytelling to inspire and retain women in STEM. This session will feature excerpts from two forthcoming anthologies—one for young adults and one for professionals—and share lessons on mentorship, communication, and perseverance aimed at advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in fluid dynamics.
